Young Vincentians are being encouraged to apply for the Isle of Man Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Education Programme (ISEP) and Scholarship.

The Scholarship programme is tailored for teenagers who are about to embark on attaining their advance or “A “levels. It creates an opportunity to study at the King William’s College in the Isle of Man (a British dependency colony between England and Ireland).

In an interview with the API, Facilitator, Kimsha Williams urged parents to take the opportunity as their children “will be well taken care of”. Williams said the scholarship covers all the expenses that may be incurred as it relates to the students including Meals, Books, Housing, Medicals and Trips to home on school breaks.

The programme aims to provide education to Vincentians who are in financial need as well as to promote studying, volunteering and interacting with people from all over the world.

Williams pointed out that the newly inductee (2023) to the ISEP Programme roster, Kayla Bobb, is the first Vincentian to receive the scholarship. Thereafter, there will be a continuum of annual scholarships to be received.

Recipient of the ISEP Scholarship, Kayla Bobb said she is enjoying her tenure at the academic institution as well as the courses in the curriculum and there has been a high level of cultural exchange between her and the other students and she is grateful for the overall experience.
