The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment held a ceremony for the handover of Personal Protective Equipment from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

The ceremony was held on Tuesday, 31st March 2020, at the Ministry's headquarters in Kingstown.

Mrs. Nicole Slack-Liburd, PAHO’s Country Programme Specialist in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines presented the protective equipment to Hon. Robert T.L.V. Browne, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment. They will be used for various purposes throughout the health care system in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Some of the items received are: gloves, masks, gowns, protective eyeware, among others.
