Saint Vincent and the Grenadines recorded one (1) new COVID-19 case on Thursday, 26th November, 2020. The new case is a returning national who arrived with a negative RT-PCR test result from the USA on Saturday November 21, 2020 on American Airlines, tested negative on entry screening and on day five (5) tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19. The adult was in mandatory quarantine and will be isolated until cleared by two negative tests.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has now recorded a total of eighty-five (85) COVID- 19 cases, seventy-seven (78) of which have recovered. There are now seven (7) active COVID-19 cases, all imported from countries categorized as “High Risk”.
