Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves expressed gratitude to Vincentians for their support in stocking the barge with relief supplies for the BVI and the other affected areas.  With regards to funds spent at the time, he said that it should range in excess of $400,000.  

This country’s response to countries affected by hurricane Irma was addressed by Prime Minister, Hon. Dr Ralph Gonsalves, at a press conference held at Cabinet Room on Monday, 18th September.

All concerned are asked to note that the barge with supplies destined for Tortola and Virgin Gorda has returned to Port Kingstown as a result of adverse weather conditions on route.

All concerned are kindly asked to note that Her Ladyship the Hon. Dame Janice M. Pereira, Chief Justice, has directed that the Ceremonial Opening of the law year 2017-2018, which was scheduled for Wednesday 20th September 2017; be postponed in all Member States and Territories of the OECS until further notice.

The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), on Friday 15th September, received five (5) Toyota Aygo cars from the Malaysian company, Monspace.  The cars were handed over at a ceremony held at the Central Police Station in Kingstown.
